Uniform
We believe that school uniform:
- Should be both practical and appropriate
- Gives children a sense of pride and belonging to the school
- Portrays the correct image to the general public
- Makes children easily recognisable while out of school on educational visits
- Should be affordable
Children are required to wear the following:
- Red jumper or sweatshirt
- White shirt or polo shirt
- Grey trousers or black trousers
- Grey or black pinafore or skirt
- Sensible black shoes
- Black, grey or white socks
- Grey, black or red tights
The following are optional:
- Grey or black tailored shorts
- Red gingham Summer dress
- Black boots
There is no requirement for branded school wear and children are welcome to wear generic school uniform from a range of retailers. Should you wish to purchase branded school items, you are welcome to do so by following this LINK.

Hairstyles and Jewellery
Please ensure that your child has an acceptable hairstyle for everyday school life. This means that long hair should be tied back to prevent the spread of head lice. Tramlines and designs shaved into hair are not accepted. Hair should not be coloured as the children go swimming and this prevents them from being allowed in the pool. Ear piercing is allowed, but these should be studs only and is only acceptable at the bottom of the child’s ear. Studs should be removed for P.E. lessons and the children must be able to do this themselves or have it done before they come into school. If you do wish to have your child’s ears pierced, please do this during the summer holiday, so that studs can be removed during term time.
