Headteacher’s Message

Welcome to Witton-le-Wear Primary School, thank you for your interest. I am honoured to be Headteacher at the school and to work closely with children and the wider community. I hope that you find our website a useful way to find out about our expectations, values and ways of learning. If you have any further questions or queries, we encourage you to come and visit us and speak to any of our committed and welcoming team. 

Witton-le-Wear is a small primary school based in shadow of Witton Castle within the beautiful Wear Valley. We are extremely proud to be part of our village community and are active participants in local events held throughout the year. We serve the village and surrounding areas by offering high quality education to children aged between 3-11.
