Head Teacher’s Update

Welcome to the April edition of our school newsletter which includes updates from all our classrooms.  We open with some wonderful staffing news followed by updates on collection and drop-off arrangements.  I’d like your input on how we stock our Monster Market, so please take a minute to read this information carefully.  As usual dates for your diary are provided at the bottom of the newsletter, please keep an eye on these as things can change.  We will do our best to keep these in line with the Dojo calendar, but please let us know if you spot any issues.

During the last month, the new tables for Class Four were delivered.  This means that all classrooms now have new furniture of equal height. This has made a huge difference to the look of the rooms and the environment that the children learn in.  This would not have been possible without the funding raised by the community during the Big Build project.  We’ve also used this funding to create our new library.  Development of which is now well underway and should be completed before the end of the year.  The final project with this funding, will be the creation of the school sensory room, I also hope to have this in place by the end of the year.

Our classrooms have been a hive of activity, the teaching staff are thrilled to share information about what’s been going on below. I hope you enjoy their stories and the accompanying images too.  Thanks, as always, for your ongoing support for the school, we wouldn’t be what we are without you!

Staffing Update

Some wonderful news to open our newsletter this month.  We have not one, but two staff pregnancies to celebrate!  I hope you will join me in sending best wishes to both Mrs. Redfern and Miss Varley on their wonderful news.  This will have implications for staffing next academic year and I will update you once I have confirmed arrangements and appointed replacements.
